This is another really nice 1928 radiator shell I believe came off a pickup. The reason I believe that is because it still has some black paint on it and it has absolutely no surface rust or rust pits, no dents or tears or welding. The paint protected the truck shells from surface rust and rust pitting. This is the kind of original shell that you want to find if you are doing a fine point restoration. The plating cleaning preparation will take off all the paint and with little other preparation it will be ready for plating. I have included pictures of all of the areas that these shells usually have problems. Notice that the crank hole does not have the raised relief like the 29's.
