800k Ford truck

I can die now, I've seen everything. I'm calling Dearborn. They can have my survivor '39 pickup which also has the locking steering column and the cruise control knob thingy sticking through the dash for a measly $500,000. They can pimp it themselves with the $$ left over.

I had a 1945 commercial, and it was as plain as vanilla. I find it hard to believe that was a factory job. Sounds more like a snow job on Ford Motor Company.

There's no way Ford would have built a truck like that. It was after the war and trucks were trucks, plain janes. And if there were that many of these supposedly built, there'd be reference to part numbers in the parts books. Ford would never pay anywhere close to that insane price! WE see stupid things they do at work ( Ford parts dept. ), but nothing in that realm.......

B.S.: I stopped reading after the air cleaner. Paper type elements weren't around in '47.

Like someone said before, until I see the check, it didn't happen.

Why would ford buy aftermarket heads vs. make their own version.

I'm throwing the bogus flag.
