Interested in finding a pair of stainless caps for a 68C Landau Iron. This cap covers the rubber spacer which is currently available, however the cap is not. I am not sure if this part is the same as the one for the 68A & 68B. This cap mounts at the top pivot of the landau iron.
Even if you don't have the part but know if the repro for the 68B is the same part, I would like to know that.
I am not sure but I think the original part number is A-70282 and was called Spacer,(Roof Landau Iron) Upper.
I think the one pictured in Sacramento Vintage Ford Parts catalog 01665-8-1 is the same. I have attached a picture of what I am referring to.
If you have originals, OK, but for me if a repro will fit and work I am OK with that too. I understand they were reproduced until just recently.
