What is the proper location for the tail light ground connection in the trunk. Should it be placed on one of the three studs that attach the fin final trim or one of the three studs that attach the tail light bucket to the fin trim? I would only guess that the connection point is the same for both the RH and LH, is this correct? Thank You

Thanks "Ford blue blood" This makes a lot of sense since the closer the ground to the light bulbs the better. I found the ground on one of the final trim studs and it was not getting to the light bulb (electrically). Adding a short jumper to one of the three studs that mount the tail light housing, fixed the ground loss, but changing the ground connection point will fix it without the jumper. I want the ground to be in the Ford factory location.

If you place a star washer between the body and the wire, it will ground better. Same for the battery ground. The star washer cuts through the paint to metal.
