Anyone ever make one of these? I have seen a few at car shows but the prices are always astronomical. I thought I could make one of my own, but didnt' want to have to visit umpteen stores and go through several thousand clocks to find one that was the right size to remove the face and glass from to mount inside the Headlight Hood... any ideas? Brand? Store?

HRR, sounds like you don't have enough projects going on over there !

In that case, I've got a 55 Courier that needs a pinion shaft seal and need to re-install the Ford-O-Matic back in. Anytime your ready ! HeHe

Most hardware stores sell the quartz movement with hands and stick-on numbers in a little kit for people who want to remove the electric motor from their old wall clocks and have battery operated clocks instead. See if you can find a kit that includes long clock hands to cover the radius of the headlight shroud opening.

Amazon.com has 'em. With or without face, hands, dials etc. Just did a search for 'clock kit' and came up with 20+ pages so there's a lot of selection.
