When I switched from the stock 272 to the hopped up 312, the four blade fan was tossed. I scrounged a seven blade fan from a Granada with air. The only fans that do not interchange on most Fords are 429 and 460. Many different spacers and bolts too.
Then when I went racing, I used an electric with a plastic shroud and hung the seven blade on the wall.
