'50 Overdrive in a '51 Car

I have asked on the shoebox forum and a couple of other places and have conflicting stories. I have a '51 Deluxe with a six cylinder 3 speed, no overdrive. I have an opportunity to buy a complete overdrive setup out of a '50 6 cylinder car. Is it a bolt-in or are there differences between the '50 and '51 overdrives?

The main difference is the ****** mount and location. Overall lengths are the same, but '51s had the mount changed because of the automatic introduced that year. Should be a bolt in IF you use the '50 crossmember, otherwise the '51 will have to be altered.
