I was working tuesday on dissassembling the 47 Ford pu, and looked at the firewall and it has 8RTT and a # bedind it. Does this mean it was a late 47 with an 8RT engine origianlly? It currently has an 8BA (could be 8RT with 8BA heads) in it with the adaptor and 3 speed. Other than the heads is there any way to tell if it is an 8RT engine? Thanks Rod
