I have a '46 Ford PU with a new lock cylinder in the passenger side door. I can get the door to lock with the inside door handle pushed forward, but the key won't unlock the door when it's been locked that way. It will lock the door from outside, and unlock it from outside when the door is closed and without the inside handle in lock mode. Is there a possibility that the cylinder should be removed and the key turned all the way either left or right and reinstalled? I seem to remember that it used to unlock the door when it had been locked from inside. The lock screw in is the cylinder recess where it should be, and the lock cylinder is flush up to the door. The weather seal rotates from the rivet on the top of the cylinder. Where did I do wrong?
