40 Ford pre-bent fuel line

I'm in the process of replacing the gas tank in my 40 Ford Deluxe Tudor. I'm thinking I should probably replace the line from the tank to the firewall connection while I'm at it. I see Inline Tube offers a pre-bent line for this. But my question is can this be installed in a fully together car? Or would this pre-bent only be useful for a restoration with the body off? I could use nicopp and bend as I go if the pre-bent can't be installed with the body on.

I bent my own, body was off the chassis. I'd be leery of any "pre-bent" fuel lines as to how accurately they are really bent.

The correct fuel line Bundy copper plated steel fuel line and fittings are available from vendors like Carpenter or Third Generation in a coil. I just installed one on my Model B Ford from Third Gen and have gone this way on early Fords since using a NOS coil in 1971 on a '46 Ford coupe. Got play with it ,work with it and bend as you go. I did use an Inline stainless line on a '32 Plymouth PB eight years ago which was also good.

I'm with you. Recently installed one of these from Third Gen. Body on the frame. It was not difficult to do.
