I understand one is high pitch and the second is low. What makes the difference, and which goes where (left or right)

I think both are just "Beep" horns. The high and low didn't come out that early I don't believe. Someone will chirp in and correct me if I am wrong I am sure.

The two horns are of a different pitch, to give a harmonizing sound. I can't tell you how it's done or which side they go on, but, they are different.

I am just a young punk with some grey hair. But have seen the bell cover's and the last letters may appear as dl ; dr aka Left, right, as far as tone I hope so because I sure don't like the noise my only one makes :D the second one is between that coast and this one in the mail....

I have 5 horn covers all are marked C-L6 maybe there is a C-R6??? but the restoration book says C-L6 and does not mention an "R".
There is a Ford service bulletin from 34 that mentions the horn with the gray diaphram is on the left, it does not mention if it is the high or low tone, all of my 35 horns have black diaphrams. Another service bulletin from 1948 that says the diaphrams thickness high=0.195 and low=0.015 I find some of the horns I have have an additional bell shaped piece under the center bolt of the diaphram??? Over the years I'm sure many of the horns have been taken apart and pieces intermingled, would like to know how to get things back to original.
