Is there a placed where I can get two new 1934 Ford Sunvisor brackets as my originals , being a potmetal have broken , has anyone else had this problem, and what did you do , other than make a couple from a piece of metal tubing , ..:confused: The original part numbers are : LH ,40-706304 and : RH 40-706305.... thanks Barners ..
 
Can you post a picture of the visor and bracket. Some of us have parts but don't know what years they are. I have some old sunvisors that need homes.
 
presumably you have tried the likes of C & G, Bob Drake and Dennis Carpenter for reproductions.

I have an extra set of '34 sun visor brackets. I think that there are two different kinds. Try to post a picture of what you need.

NOTE ........ My brackets are the flip-up, not the swing around type.

The die cast 1934 swing away sunvisors have not been reproduced for at least 8 years. Originals are difficult to find and very desirable at this time. It is very doubtful that you will find any reproduction parts company with this product on the shelf. You may want to put an ad in the wanted section or follow up on leads generated by your post. Should you not be particular there is a mid 30's chrysler product (plymouth) that looks similar.
 
The die cast are not available except some months back on 34 ford ebay site a guy was selling new manufactured one but don't remember who he was, from Philly area. I had one and luckly found one used one on ebay and paid a premium for it but it chomed up nice and works good. Remember each side is opposite hand , there is a left and right.
 
Also remember that 1934 Ford standard and Deluxe visor brackets are entirely different. I bought a pair of Deluxe brackets a guy who had made three years ago, they were made of brass, but looked very good. I had them chromed and they look good in the car. I hope that guy might make some more of them for you and for others. Tom
 
LeBaron Bonney lists 33 & 34 complete sunvisors and you choose the color for the standard model for $173 in their 2010 catalogue. They also list the visors frames only for $44. Marv

What you have is the "flip-up" STANDARD style. That is just like the used original set that I have.

Deluxe 34 sunvisors are currently not being reproduced.I saw an original set for sale at The Early Ford Store in Calif a couple weeks ago.909-305-1955.
