'34 Roadster Restoration

I'm in the beginnings of restoring a '34 Roadster. The top assembly is non-existent. Two questions came up:
1- Is there a good after-market top iron setup. I hear the Superior brand is best, but the clamping plates to the front wood bow is not close to looking original.
2- Does anyone know of someone producing the edge trim strips that go across the front wood bow. One is on the outside across the entire front edge, and I believe two are inside, perhaps beinge split up by the wiper motor?? These are all held in place by small oval head screws.
Any answers out there?
Thanks in advance.

Girtz has always had a good reputation for top irons, they made them in polished stainless steel. They spun off into a different company, I assume the quality is the same?

I've never seen the header tin pieces reproduced. There was a set on ebay recently that I believe sold.

Randy,
Thanks for the come back. Yes, Girtz was spun into Superior Car Parts. This is the one I heard of too, but not too authentic, as Ive been told. Has anyone out there used them?

I had a set one time. They were very nice and authentic looking but they were stainless steel as opposed to chrome steel and they have nylon washers at the pivot points to ease folding, both good improvements in my book, but would probably lose points in judging, if that's what you're going for. I don't remember the corners that go over the stanchions not looking original. I do have a pretty decent original set that I might would sell, haven't really thought about it.

Lifted this from Ebay some years ago.
Some good old original Ford parts, as i understand it.

These are the 2 metal pieces that hold the convertible top to the front wooden header and they should be chrome plated. I have drawn a dimensional drawing of both pieces if you send me an private message with your email address and I will send you a copy.
