33/34 ash tray face- original ??

Finally got it from a internet seller. It appears to be NOS ? Is the wood graining correct? In perfect shape. Never installed, no marks from a knob. Ideas ? photos- Newc

I don't think it's NOS. It looks like the knob hole is located in the wrong place...

ALSO......The grain pattern looks too plain/pine boardish, no real burl to it!!!

Finding that it seems to have a GM pattern. It does match my other Ford covers in size. These ash trays may have other applications besides Ford? Newc
