Very good 312 short block assembly for rebuild.
B9AE-F Cylinder block ( '59 - '60 Mercury )
ECZ main caps
Crank flange: cresent with one large dot
Crank is .020 / .020
Bores are std at 3.800
Pulled main caps and checked block around main bolt holes. No visible cracks. If they're there from over torquing, you usually can see them.
Includes short block assembly with front sump oil pan, damper, front cover/water pump, oil pump, cam/lifters/timing set, lifter valley cover. For $150 more ($950 total) I will include an ECZ-B intake manifold. Engine is currently reassembled. All parts are used. Engine ran before pulling. PM with any questions. Pictures unavailable right now.
Good 312 blocks are getting hard to find. The earlier ones are usually junk due to overtorquing of main bolts. This shows no signs of that and it is standard bore. If you require a good 312 block to start an engine build, this is a good one.
