I have a 25 tudor that we bought a few months ago.I checked the serial # on the block(wich matches title) but am questioning that # 10794450(Nov 1924) could actually be a 24 not a 25.I know that there was some delay between engine# and car production date.I guess my question is how can I positevly nail down what year it is?

The model year did not end on Dec 31. From memory, I do not know when the model year ended, but the tudor would probably be called a 25.
An early example of model year is 1909, it ended in July. That leaves a lot of months that cars were produced and called 1910 cars and were actually built in 1909.

Willie is probably right. The eng. is in fact a Nov. '24 date but the model year that was being used at the time it was sold? Who knows. The cars came out of the factory with parts that were used till the shelves were empty then any improved or changed parts began to be used. Didn't matter what year the car was sold as. If they still had "stuff" it was used.
