1970 boss 302 mustang

have customer with '70 boss owned since new. 59k miles. most pieces as henry built it including factory exhaust. been sitting in confined garage 8 years now time to bring it back 2 life. not looking to get to show piece but need to purchase pieces that "fit". have been through early v8 and model 'a' cars and suppliers on those models. am requesting leads as to supply houses that offer quality replacements or nos. need items like brake hoses, prefab steel brake and gas lines.any leads appreciated. brother owns a napa store so all ready been down that road for some items. thanks to any and all. richard

The suppliers of Mustang parts should be able to take care of you. Go to the store and get a mag on Mustangs, the parts guys advertise in there.

Check out www.boss302.com and talk to the guys over there. LOTS of knowledge, 'specially on the concours side of things and they surely can help you out.

Some items will be "Boss" specific. These will be costliest. Next down the ladder is "Mustang" items--not too bad (pricewise) and everything is repopped. Then comes "Ford" parts--generic Ford items that will work fine across all the Ford lines. Finally, the Chinese, discount auto parts crap--use if you MUST.(NAPA would be better quality.)
