1954 Ford F100 223 Throttle Return Spring

Hello all! I am newbie here and recently purchased a 54 Ford F100 with a 223 6 and 3 speed trans. My throttle return spring is broken. Does anyone have pictures of an original and where it connects to? I've searched to the ends of the internet and haven't come across a new one listed in any of the major parts suppliers catalogs. Any help is greatly appreaciated!

Pics of my truck to come....... She's all original and has virtually no rust issues.

The spring usually attaches to a hole near where the linkage attaches to the carb and to a fixed bracket on the intake manifold. If you still have all or most of the spring you can probably find something suitable at a hardware store.

I have both setups; 223 with Fordomatic and 223 with 3-spd manual. I could look at em all day and it wouldn't help ya. Take the broken spring you got to a hardware store, or Lowes or Home Depot. They have all types of springs like it. Match the length, coil diameter and tension as close as you can to the broken one.
