Howdy!
I am restoring to Period Correct a Tonner Express pickup. Can anyone tell me where the tailpipe position ends at the rear. Does it extend to the rear under a bumper or exhaust to the rear & toward the RR tire? Or something else? Photo?
Also can anyone clarify why a 59A V8 engine has more than 1 type of exhaust manifold left & right?
Thanks!

I looked through the James Wagner's 'Ford Trucks Since 1905' but eventually realized that every photo was from the front quarter. From memory it would seem that the tailpipe would exit at the right side rear, under the bumper.

GB,
Thanks for the reply & research!
I have some feedback from others describing just as you say....so i am going with that, appreciate your expertise.
Best to you!
