[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]Absolutely beautiful 1940 Ford Deluxe Convertible. This car has undergone an extensive restoration and the result is a car that's as beautiful to look at as it is fun to drive. An amazing car to own. [/FONT]
[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]The body on the car is immaculate. All sheet metal is near perfect; we've been unable to find a single scratch or dent. The body was brought down to the bare metal for paint, and it shows in how smooth and flawless the surface of this car is. You may be able to see from the pictures [/FONT][FONT=Arial, sans-serif]that the doors are slightly off in tone from the rest of the car; this is the only flaw I can find in the paint. [/FONT]
[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]This was a frame-on restoration, but to all appearances it looks like a frame off. As you can see from the pictures, the underside of the car is almost as nice as the top. [/FONT]
[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]The majority of the chrome is in very good to excellent condition. There is some brightwork in the grill that upon close examination could use replacing if you're looking for a show car. Stainless is excellent. [/FONT]
[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]Since the car was already running well, the engine was given a cosmetic restoration. Painted in Ford Green, the engine starts up right away and runs very smooth. The transmission shifts well with a good clutch. [/FONT]
[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]The car has a brand-new cowl to engine wiring harness, as well as new wiring from cowl to tail. [/FONT]
[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]This is a GENUINE convertible, NOT a conversion. Although the power vacuum system is not hooked up, the top raises and lowers easily by hand. Top is in good condition. All latching hardware is there and works. [/FONT]
