1936 Ford flathead advice needed

Hi Guys,
I inherited a 36 Ford 5 Window coupe, and am planning a restore. It is pretty much original. It belonged to my cousin who started restore but never finished. It has been sitting in the garage since 1968. My plan was to begin with the engine, then after verifying all is in order, proceed with chassis, then body. I built a running stand for the flathead to verify it runs. (it was locked up from sitting so long and would not budge) I pulled the heads and doused the pistons/cylinders with kroil and after rocking with a cheater it broke free. I found the cylinders/valves rather clean and determined it has not been run for a long time.(no carbon) However, on the right bank, I found a crack right in the center. (cooling jacket?) I need advice on what to do with this...attaching pics of the ford, block, and crack. TIA
Andy

My '36 motor has those exact cracks and I have been running it since 1973. IMHO, if you gotta have cracks- this is the best place for 'em.

Is there anything I can do to prevent coolant leaks thru head bolt or exhaust manifold?
Also, is there a concensus on head bolt torque or accepted torque sequence or practice?
TIA,
Andy
