'36 deluxe 5 window restored 13 years ago from 48000 mile 99% original and complete barn find. Paint is Concept, Washington Blue, upholstery is LeBaron Bonney. Car has working original radio and clock mirror, banjo wheel, and roll-down rear window. Engine is a 59L factory relieved block with a 4" Merc. crank and modified 1CM Merc cam, 0.060" over, adjustable lifters, late model valve train, crab distributor, remote full-flow spin on oil filter, Offenhauser heads and dual exhaust. Result is around 145 HP from 267 cu.in.. Transmission is totally rebuilt and rear is 3.78 with a Mitchell "36%" overdrive giving a final drive ratio of 2.80 ( in overdrive). Car also has hydraulic brakes, WWW radials, mint original spyder caps, greyhound, and a '39 roller sector steering box. Extreemly reliable and enjoyable ride, especially in overdrive.
