I have an FT-6 1935 Ford radio.

Next to the hole where you plug in the speaker wire is another hole with four prongs.

Can anyone tell me what it is meant to be used with ?

That is where the head unit (Dial and knobs) that goes in the middle of the dash connects to the remote box under the dash. Dave/Green Bay

That 4 prong hole is for the radio test cable from a Ford Heyer Test Set.
