1932 5-window door panel clips

I am installing the door panels and the clips that came with the kit are too big. You cannot squeeze them enough to insert them in the 1/4 in. holes around the edge of the door. Both LeBaron Bonney and Macs have no other alternatives. As is usually the case, the originals are much better than the wire type, being made out of sheet metal (5/32 in. wide) with a nice tapered "v shape."

Does anyone have a source for these clips? I don't want to drill out the doors to 3/8 in.! Thanks for your help, Ed
 
I've just installed door panels in my 2-door useing LB clips, and they went in perfectly. If you cant do it, go to any auto trim shop and they should have a variety of clips that might work
