I looked for a long time trying to find this nut to rebuild my early generator. I even tried to have some made from steel after paying up for a sample. Fortunately, I recently found some NOS examples that I can sell at a discounted price. $12 each or three for $30 plus shipping. I will also have them at Hershey if you want to save on shipping.
