I just bought this car with the intent of cutting it up to make a hot rod out of it. After hearing the story of it being a one family car, (dad bought new and gave to son) and having 49,000 miles, and after inspecting the car I just cant tear apart. Its one of the most complete and original cars Ive seen. It is missng a few small items but mostly there. It was last registered in 1963 and traded in to a small Ford dealership where it has sat in a barn since. It does have some dents and the seat coverings had to be removed because of the birds that had moved in. The only rust is a little behind the rear wheels where they all do. We got it home and cleaned out the carb, bought a battery, and cleaned the plugs, changed the oil and a few little things and it fired off.
