1928 Jack A-17080 SOLD
SOLD
This '28 jack was a carry over of the Model "T" jack, except the Model "T" jack did not have the 7/16" hole in the top extension. This jack works going up but does not go down as it should. You have to wiggle it around to retract it. It should be alright for display purposes. That is all these ratchet jacks should be used for. The 90+ year old metal in the ratchet assembly cannot be trusted for jacking up a car.
Model A"s used this jack up thru Sept. 1928. I media blasted it and painted it and I am only going to ask $15 for it for the 2 hours I spent cleaning it up. My time is worth more than that, but I didn't like the idea of throwing it in the scrap iron pile if someone could use it. It will ship USPS flat rate for $16.65.
