1927 Coupe seat frame

Hey all, I guess a hello to start from Nebraska. I am getting to do some work on a T coupe that is going to get hot rodded a little. I am wondering on the removal on of frame for the seat, looks like its just riveted in. Is the correct? I am thinking of just drilling them out but not sure if its the best thing. Thank you in advance.

Ya, they are riveted. Drilled mine out, move the set riser back to make more room for old legs, worked fine in a stock 26 coupe.
