I have taken some of the suggestions of Ford Barn members that were made in previous posts, running more advanced, bending the fan blades to 27 degrees and flushing the block. One additional thing I did notice is that even with the fan belt snugged up, the fan could still be turned easily by hand with the engine off. The pulley is a stock brass piece that is very smooth. This may seem kind of goofy but to make the pulley get a better grip with the belt, I brushed the pulley with contact cement and cut a piece of wall board tape that was a plastic mesh. The tape has 1/8 in. square holes. I cut the tape the correct length and width so that it would go around the pulley without overlapping. I also brushed the contact cement on one side of the wall board tape and wrapped it around the pulley. It is much harder now turning the fan against the belt. Better yet, I have not had any overheating since I made all these changes. Thanks guys, Ed
