    JWL covered this in his book however he said that on A full rave block relieving did help tom Beaty, The Beean bandits, John Bradly, art Christian etc. all ran fast FH.s they all relieved their blocks. They couldn't all have been wrong...

    Years agoIhada1930A coupe and with the trans ion 3rd gear you could lift up on the shift handle and move it all the way over with the trqns still in gear. I know have a 1929 sports coupe and Iam not able to do this did all Model A,s have this function?

    Back in the 50.s I had a model A 1930 coupe. with the trans in 3rd gear I could pull up the shift lever and move it all the way to the right. I now have a 1929 spots coupe and I can not do this. Were all Model A,s able to do this?
