Can anyone tell me why the crack in the cab paint above the rear of the door. Is it from flexing of the frame in that area? I've seen it in several of the pickups besides mine. Thanks Mike

Pete: Maybe I'm using the wrong terminology . The 26 tooth gear on the cluster is missing about four teeth and one on the 18 tooth gear. Mike

Has anybody used the Halogen conversion headlights made by Vintique on a 39 Deluxe. If so how do they fit? headlight rims to body? I've got a 41 pickup and would like to convert it over to the 39 Deluxe look. Thanks Mike

Thanks for all the input. I was able to remove the latch and lock assembly, and found the spring for the lock was not giving enough tension. By bending the spring a little the door now locks, and the handle snaps into the lock position. Happy Thanksgiving All. Mike

I'm a newbe, just bought a 41 pickup and the driver door doesn't lock. If I push the handle forward it locks , but if you try opening the door from the outside several times it will open. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mike
