    Engine Rebuilder

I have no experience with repairs, but have met both Joe Bell and Kevin Prus. Both are straight up knowledgeable folks and I would be confident in either. Interesting fact... I have THE Jensen head on my 24 touring, that Kevin used to make the mold for his "Prus Head" !! He was here to pick up...

Re: ‘69 Mustang Mach 1 rear axle ID? I believe the only 429 engine Mustang option in 69 was the BOSS 429...:)

    Old A owner with a T question...

The Model T transmission pan is part of the engine pan. The flywheel is an integral part of the oiling system. Best not to muss with Henry's masterpiece there. :D Ruckstell or an auxiliary transmission is the way to go, but brakes need to be added to the wheels for sure.

    1914 Gas Tank Evaporation

I have been shutting the fuel off at the sediment bowl. (24 touring car) If not, I noticed the same thing, 1/4 tank when parked, no spots or stains on the floor, no gas smell (and I looked in on it periodically). Come spring...tank dry. I did find, to help seal the cap, an oil filter...

    66 T-Bird

I sold this car a few months ago and the new owner stopped by yesterday. 69K original mileage car, my dad bought it in the late 70s. Was color code X maroon, looks good red, but I liked the maroon better. He had the chrome redone also. I hated to let it go, but I didn't have time for a new...

Where do these people come from? My laugh for the day.

After twenty years of living with a mechanic, my wife is more knowledgeable than some about cars. When we met, if she spoke of a car and you asked her what kind..."It was a green one..."

37 year old wanting to buy a Model T!

Yes 6'6". I have a couple inches to spare. I would suggest, if you haven't driven a T, find someone local that will let you drive one beforehand. At least then, when you look at one, you'll have a little feel for what it should be. Quite different from a Model A. Lots of misrepresentation out...

37 year old wanting to buy a Model T!

The windshield doesn't fold back on 22-27, 21 and prior only. I will have to check, but I believe my door is 6.5' and my 24 fits *******. It takes up a lot less space than my 73 Torino. Are you looking for a project, a restored car or something in between ?

    LED Headlights

Honestly, I haven't had a warm evening since I got my bulbs. But if you notice my pics, the left garage door is not lit up much at all. I did run the focus adjustment all the way in (screws backed out), they don't focus into a beam like the originals, but did concentrate the light. I don't...

    Ruckstall

Depends on the gear ratio, 3:1 is more desirable IMO. I'd put it at $600-$800...;)

    LED Headlights

After researching the options for brighter lights, I decided to give these a try. LEDlight.com, I got 2-1158 style for the H/L and 2-1156 with a lower CP for the tail and brake lights...$25 !! It got cold last night, but I pulled it outside and shined them on the garage door. Very pleased so...

    Engine Trouble

Doesn't really sound like a bearing, did you check the fan and belt. I wouldn't think you could hear an exhaust leak much sitting still without a load.
