I can see the dimensions are slightly different , what I cant see from tiny pic is what the ford regulator is from though. thank you for all your time !

thank you Kube !

Karl , the first picture you posted, are those both coupes ? looks like it can be fudged to work.

lol, yes, I know, it was a data entry error , I initially typed 2dr, but then thought i should clarify coupe and overlooked removing the 2 dr part :D

anyone know if or has a part number list to know if 40 ford and 40 mercs (2dr coupes) use the same window regulators. they look the same (well looking at pictures on the internet) but trying to find out for sure. thank you Ford Guru's :)

hoping one of you distinguished gentlemen may have a 1940 mercury center grill divider bar for a 1940 mercury. (the chrome pot metal piece that divides the two grille halves) thank you

Yeah, I looked under tonight and looked just like a regular mount , no extension, after the previous reply’s I thought I missed something, but I guess that brings me back to my original question

main reason i was asking about the split wishbones in the first place is i was wanting to switch to a T5 and thought i may need to split the bones

i need to split the bones on my 40 merc, planning on using the kit that bolts to the frame and provides the transmount area for an automatic (:o ) as well. Has anyone confirmed the 40 ford kit is the same for mercury ? OR, not saying i really want to but out of curiosity, if a...

Thanks, and thanks to everyone who helped out ! I had an Argentinian 34 grille along time ago and wondered if this might be something like that as the build quality of this grille kinda made me wonder if it was homemade ! Lol , that and I wasn’t 100% sure it was even for a 40 ford , I appreciate...
