On a side note, if you ever have your cam out, never degrease or solvent wash the cam. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

Man. That would be a good purchase.

There's a place that specializes in classics just a few miles from here. I'll get you the address in the morning.

You'll regret selling the flathead.

Welcome to Ford Barn, good Sir! Hopefully someone will follow up with help on the doors.

Hudson did make straight 8's in some models until '52.

Charly Ny , it's the Borg DG-200 "3 band".

I definitely will.

In a moment of weakness, I was seduced by another orphan. Unfortunately I cannot keep both. The Mercury is being shipped 1500 miles to a 79 yr old gentleman in Florida. I sincerely appreciate the fellowship and help I've gotten here at the Barn. I was in the garage all evening tying up some...

Absolutely! I did order a couple from Mac's though. But by the time they get here I'll probably be rolling again. I am a lathe machinist by trade so making one wouldn't be a big deal but for $25 I figured I'd spend my lunch break eating lunch. Lol

I got one side off. This bolt is useable as is. It was a bit of a struggle getting it out. The bushing was all swelled up from the squaw piss (P.B. Blaster).

Well damn. I searched using Bing and Google, and that never came up as a result. Thanks again. I'm ordering them.

Thank you.

Thanks for the replies. I've got everything apart except this bolt. Not very crusty. So the washer on the threaded end comes off and then drive the bolt out like kind of like a modern wheel lug stud?
