    The Farmer Phaeton

On this car, I am not planning to worry about oil leaks less than a quart a week...LOL Not immediately at least. Right now I am just trying to get the motor to run a little to see if it is decent enough to run for a while. If it is, then I will put better parts on it. Most of this car needs to...

    The Farmer Phaeton

Solid advice. My initial plan is basically an inventory, then a plan. Make it run, go and stop first. Then seats. Every step helps determine what the car will be but probably a hydraulic brake full fendered car to play on the dirt with. 30's and 40's style. once it is running and going I...

    The Farmer Phaeton

I am pretty sure the brake job is what sidelined the car. some of the wheel axle nuts were hand tight.

I thought the cutting out the frame section with the hydraulic master cylinder and using it as the mount system was my favorite so far.

    The Farmer Phaeton

No I didn't find it on a farm, but the number of farmer fixes on gives it the name. 1929 Phaeton last driven 1973. At some point prior it was aquired in Brazil and brought up to NY. At his point I am tring to see what I have and need to get it running and mobile. Not sure after that. Feel...

    Quick Model A horn question

Nope, its a fail. That wonky end on the harness works its way to the edge and grounds on the switch body when I drive it. The harness is sketchy anyway so time to replace it.

    Quick Model A horn question

time to get out the dremel. Still waiting on a headlight bulb socket or else I would strip out to harness and put the new one in. total debacle. I had to get it to a local show so I hard wired the headlight on one side then decided to get a new harness.

    Quick Model A horn question

1931 Pickup, I just need a sanity check on my horn. If I hook up a test light to the two horn wires (disconnected from the horn), I get a completed circuit. This is only supposed to be a completed circuit when the horn button is pressed correct? The horn button goes up and down so not jammed...

    1931 Pickup questions

I think I have this figured out. I was working with the harness that was in the truck. The Previous owner had used other wires on a couple ends to either get a bullet connector, or replace bad ends. I think I have the horn wires connected to the head light. Fortunately my new harness from...
