No. The GAV housing is brass, so even a slightly off wrench quickly rounds the hex edges.

So what I'm hearing is that you don't have any documentary evidence of AR being used as a prefix.

Not retired, replacement. You can see in the photo above that various oversized piston rings have the *R designation even though they haven’t been superseded. The R just signifies that you should not order this part unless you’re working on a car for which the standard part is unsuitable for...

Is there a digest email setting like vBulletin had? It was nice to get daily digests of the for-sale forums rather than 20 individual emails of someone posting "btt."

Can you post a photo of a parts list or other official document showing AR as a prefix?

I asked about loading threads reverse chronological, and you suggested using the Filters menu on each forum, but what I actually want is to sort the posts within each thread in reverse chronological order. On vBulletin this view could be set as the default, so that when you open a thread, the...

This is not true, as was covered in that thread I linked to. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=360647

The temp sensing feature in your LiPo battery is almost certainly for charging. You're not supposed to charge them when the temperature of the battery is below freezing, so the battery management system has a sensor that disconnects the charging function if the temp is too low. The most...

This was all just covered in another thread two days ago. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=360647

Thousands of major websites are down today to make emergency security upgrades due to a PHP vulnerability announced yesterday.

It might help us if you could give a full list of which parts were removed and replaced/upgraded as part of the 12V conversion. You described it as though only the manifolds were removed, but a 12V conversion with an electronic distributor would require you to replace most of the electrical...
