I have a 30 Tudor sedan going back together after many years. Getting to the spare tire bracket that attaches to the rear of the body (this is not a side mount spare). Is there any kind of rubber or protective material that goes between the bracket and the body? Or does the bracket bolt...

Has anyone had any luck reattaching the mounting arm on a vacuum wiper motor? I dropped mine while cleaning it and the prices for replacements are getting pretty steep.

I purchased a rebuilt steering arm (with a new round ball welded on) few years ago and installed. It looks like it may be bent given that the end of the drag link now rubs underneath the brake shaft above it. Am I thinking correctly? What might I do to fix this?

Thanks Brent! Your answer is what i was looking for exactly. This 30 car is painted more like a 28/29. I think the upper body (above the belt including the C pillar) would be all the same color except the window reveals if it were correct. Just checking to be sure

I am seeing pictures of some 30/31 vehicles with same upper and lower color body color and the accent only at the raised area of the belt. The color guides i see written claim that the upper and lower body are always a different color - unless all black. Was the same upper and lower body color...

Does anyone have pictures of the stamped and cast brake drums that show the differences? I think all I’m seeing online are cast ones and I’m not sure what I have on my car.

Thanks everyone for replying so far! The manifold definitely isn't modified. The split between the two waffle portions is cast that way. The top is supposed to bolt on with two fasteners that are probably 12-18" apart. I've seen these manifolds for sale before but never one with the heater...

I have a split waffle style manifold but not the heater cover. The mounting bolts are a lot farther apart than the 7" on the commonly available Autolite part (they roughly align with the #1 and #4 spark plugs). Does anyone recognize this and know what brand it is? I'd like to put heat in my car.
