Excellent post Gene. I had a huge collection of 33-40 stuff here for years. I guy came and bought a bunch of Muncie transmission I had. He ended up buying all of my parts a few weeks later. 4 truckloads and my old shop is totally cleared out. He is happy and I am happy.

I am looking for the tan material that LeBaron Bonney used to cover the top bows on a '33/'34 Ford. I see bow drill advertised but is is some sort of twill fabric. I think they used the same material for top pad covering as well. 'Any leads of where to purchase the material is appreciated.

A well known vendor. He bought up the '40 grilles a while back , '40 running boards, etc. 5K for a set of boards is a bit over the top.

I have done 2 of them. Both were mild hot rods about an inch away from being cut up for scrap. Both were saved.Make it safe to drive and reliable and have fun with it is my vote.
