i went a different route ,while i was done with frame, motor etc i found a portable sissor lift on craigslist for $500. i knew the shop that had it so i knew it was not abused while it is not great to work under truck it sure is nice to lift up to comfortable hieght to do brakes,wiring etc...

i am looking for a pickup hood ornament also ordered one years ago from drake had the right box but had a car ornament inside talked to someone at drake last fall and was told they might have some this year but had no details

i am doing a 40 pickup which when done original looks as tho the front of the box is too low has anyone lifted the front to stream line the look and how much did you lift it i would have to make the panels under box taller to fill in the space sorry new to thisdelete if not allowed thanks

just put together a northern classic box very simple very nice box came with wood floor kit was impressed with quaility of box and wood

building 40 pickup. in process of hanging front end question for experts i can get hood spacing at cowl almost perfect all bolts are tight after opening hood 2-3 times hinge bolts are loose and gaps are horrible am i missing something?

as far as i know not being reproduced. i just bought a t brace for a 40. i put a ad in the wanted section and got a couple hits. have had good luck finding parts on this site
