How do you do that? I haven't figured it out yet after many years of trying.

I'm just getting my '50 ready to put in my 30 Model A and currently have no distributor. I was considering using a stock one with the Pertronic replacement module inside - looks stock, no points to wear out. I've used one in the 4 banger for 10 years with zero problems. Anyone on this site...

I did mine in what I was told was a Washington Blue by my local Maaco, but it is a tad brighter. Since mine is a driver, not a points car, I love the way it looks no matter what it is called. Can't fogue out how to attach picture, sorry, not too computer literate.

You have a diamond in the rough! You are young enough to take your time and as many of us have - learn by doing. Best advice - hook up with a local Model A club. There is more knowledge in those places than in all the books ever written about cars and 99% of them have friendly, helpful...
