It could be, some early 31's came with the blue ford emblem until they ran out, as late as Mar 31.

John Butts, Thank you for those great pic's. the people of that time were very strong folks, but I would guess the folks before them in the covered wagons crossing this country were even tougher, ....looks like every generation is getting weaker, and I'm one of them. don't know where it will...

I don't know about the diff. on the 21" wheel and tire, but I replaced the org. 19" wheel and tires with 16" 35 ford spoke wheels, The 19" tires were new 4.75/5.00-19 firestones, and the 16" were new 6.00-16 coker/classic, I measured both tires side by side with a straight edge, the 16's were...

I have used the points from Napa made in the USA for several years now, no problems, I would much rather pay $16 for the ones made in the US then a few $ for the ones made in China that just last a short time. I also own a 1972 VW bug, just a few years ago you could buy bosch [sp] spark plugs...

Sorry about the damage, did coolant come out of the damaged area ?... like above, take it to a rad. shop and maybe they can repair it. And please get a two bladed alum. fan, That's what real "A" model men use :rolleyes:.

Hey...Do not drive your "A" like you would drive a porsch :eek:. you should be able to tell what gear to use by the sound of the eng. it all depends if your going up a grade, or down or straight and level, and how fast your going. best advice is in the oper's man..... Ist and 2nd are used to get...
