Body lines are good now that I lowered the door. The door to cowl gap is good as well. Now body lines are more correct just the bottom of the door needs to move forward but that will cause the top of the door to be lower than the quarter body lines. Odd problem

Looking for advice from those who have been in this situation before me. 30-31 Roadster. Brookville body. Passengers side door did not shut well. The latch was higher than the striker. I tried to adjust the striker but not enough movement to get it to line up. I removed a shim from the cowl to...

Lots of great responses on this thread. My father drove a 30 sedan as a daily in the 60's-70's. I went everywhere as a kid in that car. I still drive the sedan as much as I can today but not often enough. My 5 day work week moves fast but I really enjoy a evening ride to decompress from the...

Thank you Modela29. The Massachusetts build makes sense because this car has extensive New England history.

Hoping someone could help me decode the body number stamped into the front subframe crossmember of an early 30 Tudor Sedan. S AX 6956 is clearly stamped into the subframe. Does that number provide any clue as to where the body was made ?? Thanks in advance for any info.

Thank you all for your replies.

Good afternoon and wanting to poll the experts in the group. My model A leans towards the driver side is this typically caused by the rear spring , the front spring or could be both? Thanks ahead of time for your insight.

I'm hoping someone in Fordbarn has an original Stanco quail they would sell. I have a very original 2 door phaeton I'm looking to put it on. Thanks for consideration

Thank you all for the info and this points me in a good direction.

I know there are rear fenders that are interchangeable between body styles but wondered if there is a rear fender that is interchangeable with the 180A ?? Is there anyone on Fordbarn that has a really nice/nos passenger rear for a 180A??

1931 Ford 180 A , Rare body style and this example had been tucked away for many many years till 2025. Rebuilt engine that runs very well. New top in the box and this cars runs and drives but really should have tires. This complete car is fine to use as is or restore if you desire to. This car...

I just saw an original quail sell on eBay for $861.00. Is this the going rate these days. I’m hoping to find a nice original one for a 180A I bought but not sure about that sale price. Thoughts ?

Morning Bob 159-64xx is the number listed on the Briggs tag riveted to the firewall of this 2 door phaeton . It's my understanding all 180A start with 159-xxxx

Thank you and yes I have been on that site I figured the 180 A experts would chime in with approximate date the car was built based on the 159-64xx number Thank you again

Good Morning, if a 180 A had tag # 159-64xx. What would the build month be of that car?? Also as near as I can tell it was always a left hand drive car. Thanks for the info

I have a very nice 28 Coupe and I'm looking for a nice original radiator shell that has still has nickle on it. Also looking for headlights as well. Would like to find very nice E brake handle for the same car. Handle in front of the gear shift. This is a car with a very old restoration and...
