I'm looking at a Howard F7 cam for a 59A flattie. I know the Howard F9 cam works really well and I was wondering if the Howard F7 cam is worthwhile even bothering with. Howard Johansen is probably better known for his 6 cylinder cams.

Go Cat is one engine builder to avoid. The other is Flathead City in Oregon. Don't give either one of these engine builders any consideration whatsoever. Save yourself a lot of grief and go somewhere else to get your flathead built.
