Got a problem with my carburetor, I think. The car starts good, runs good on top end, idles real well with the choker rod turned out 1 1/2 turns. If I try to turn it in, it loses a little bit of power and doesn't run as well. I wonder if it's in the adjustment needle. Anybody had any problems...

I put it on the car, got it to charge (7-8 amps), charges good but it still gets hot. Maybe like Peter said "How hot is too hot?" I'm going to try one of the infrared thermometers and see what it says. Thanks again to all.
