    KRWilson Combination Machine and Stand

For sale, KRW Combination Machine, seems to be in good shape. The gearbox has been replaced, but I was able to locate an original gearbox that will go with. I have a rack of about 10, boring bars and the frames for I believe the Model A and Model T blocks. There is a box of extra parts...

Wiring for Dome Light AND Electric Wiper

Russ, I hope you don't mind me bringing this subject back up. But I am in the same situation. My car almost looks like one wire running from the terminal box to the wiper, and then a wire tapped into the bakelite terminal on the wiper and running diagonal across the roof to the door post where...

Yep, an Air Friction carb. The i.d. tag was located on the air inlet tube. It was a brass tube threaded into the body of the carb. Check the MTFCA forum as well for lots of info.

    Heat Shield Removal

Tom, I did the very same thing you are asking about. I removed the heat shield, removed the distributor, and the manifolds. (Leaking manifold gasket but figured I would remove the heat shield at the same time) I didn't immediately retorque the head nuts, and the next morning found a small...

    question from a young guy

Just be patient. Get involved with a local group, you would be surprised what may turn up. I would suggest building a T, something between 17-25 parts are cheap and easily available. Once you have a running chassis you shouldn't ever have to take a loss. Building a reproduction can be rewarding...

Why do you own a Model A?

Always enjoyed old cars, started with a 1939 Plymouth when I was just 14. Since then I have had old cars, trucks, motorcycles. Finally settled on Model A's and T's. Easy to work on easy to get parts, and a great following for all the information we need to keep them running. K

    Rebuilding Carburetor

Just did the same thing on a carburetor. Broke off the cap jet, luckily I have a real small easy out, the spiral kind. Warmed it up quenched it and was able to screw the remaining piece out with the easy out by hand. Good luck, K

    Magnetizer

    Seized t engine

Most gow jobs of the 30-40 were Model T bodies on Model A chassis. Much easier to go that route than putting a A engine in a T. Good Luck, K

Only spoke with Stan over the phone a couple of times, but followed him on the MTFCA pretty regularly. I miss Herman and Frieda. Stan may your T never leak oil, and the bands never need adjusting, rip Kevin
