    Next Steps

I have met a few folks and have made some good contacts but the meeting times are hard for me to make with my kids schedule. They have all been very helpful with what I have started doing. I guess I don't want to continually bug them with questions and stuff and still trying to get comfortable...

Ok I know what and where the manifolds are. Didn't think about them much since I am replacing the exhaust manifold at some point. My grandpa was very creative with creating a heating system. Also thanks for letting me know I am at least heading in the right direction.

Sorry for not know all of the correct terms for things but do you mean pulling the head and cleaning? I have turned the motor and it spins free very easy but didn't think about doing that before I turned it.

Good Morning All, In trying to get my 1930 up and running after 30+ years I was wonder about the next logical step in getting it fired up. I have made sure the coolant system is good, pulled and cleaned out the oil pan, gave it a good degreasing, and am starting to test the fuel system...

    Floor Boards

Found a pattern online and was able to get all new boards done up. Very few modifications needed. Thankfully I had a master carpenter helping me out. Thanks for all of your help and advise so far. Just a little at a time.

    Coolant Information

Thanks for all the information. As a follow up the radiator has been flushed and checked and is in great shape. Now the crack in the frame right under the radiator is a whole different beast.

    Coolant Information

Good evening folks. I started removing parts from the engine compartment since I got my old boy on tires and rolling. Everything going smooth so far but got a radiator question. The car hasn't ran for more than a few seconds at a time in 30 years but it was full of coolant still. I think it is a...

    Tires on a Project

Tom does have a good idea. Too bad I still have to jack it up to get my fat old butt under it to work on. Still think I will start looking for some carpet.

    Tires on a Project

Good Morning All. Finally putting wheels and tires back on my 30 Tudor so I can roll in and out of the shed to work on. My shed (which is basically a very large enclosed carport) just has a dirt floor so when I put it back in and it is going to be a little while before I roll it back out should...

    Floor Questions

After doing some more searching on the D Nut part I found some good posts from the past. I'm going to try the solder method (I don't have a welder)and grind the flanges down instead of trying to peen them. Seems easier to me than drilling and trying to re-tap them. It would also save me having...

    Floor Questions

Shows how much I don't know cause I didn't even think of that. Would still have to remove it to clean it up for welding. Have to wait till the kids are grown up and gone to do a complete job.

    Floor Questions

Morning Everyone. Still very new to all this so forgive my ignorance and lengthy post. I've found the information on here very helpful and like seeing the pictures of everyone's cars. Now that I have my 30 Tudor cleaned out and ready to start replacing boards I have some questions. I am on a...

    Headlight Identification

I went back to look for the tags but there weren't any. However where the tags normally would be according to information I found (after some good cleaning) a name and model stamped. They are BLC model 904-A headlights. From what else I found the stamped ones predate the tags but I don't know...

    Headlight Identification

These headlights are on my 30 Tudor. I have not been able to find any of these in the catalogs or online and can't find numbers on it. I'm assuming they are not the original ones. Anyone know anything about them? Thanks
