The sealed shocks seem like a good choice because there is no maintenance. But I read where the ones where you can add fluid are better. Anyone have an opinion on seal versus no sealed.

There are a few vendors that have them for sale. Some of the shocks are sealed and other ones require oil. Sealed ones sound nice but I think I read where they do not work as well as the oil required ones do. Question has been ask before my search skills are not very good, thanks.

Try a 6 volt OPTIMA battery. It will spin that engine like the spark plugs or out of it.

The opening is located at the front bottom of the quarter, engine side. Looks like there should be a plate or something that will plug it to keep engine and air from coming in. Arrow in picture is area I'm talking about.

Yes it did and very well. It's almost like the lobe on the cam that pushes the pump is worn out but i checked it when I drop the oil pan and it's in good shape. I even stuck my finger up in the opening where the fuel pump would be placed and i can feel the off set lobe when i crank the engine.

I've try all above and nothing has worked. This is a 4 cylinder 32 engine. I'm going to start from scratch and put a new kit in pump. What I would like to replace are the 2 small hex shape disc for in and out suction. Looking at renner's 4 cyl kit he does not show the hex shape pieces. I will...

Every vintage car I have own, I like to put YOM vintage plate on car. Problem is, my 1932 car, the bracket for the plate is design for plates with holes at the bottom and this original 32 KY plate only has holes at the top. The plate is so nice I would hate to drill new holes on the bottom but...

My oil is non detergent. Would that make a difference. I might try 20w50. Running an engine a little low on oil sounds a little scary. thanks everyone

I know it is common for a drip at that point since they put a cotter key in the hole but mine seems to doing it a bit more, Im using 10w30 weight oil. And I'm assuming if the oil is coming from the rear seal and not the bearing you would see it run down the back of the pan. I did have my oil pan...
