I pulled the carb, so I got a pic of the spacer.

I would suppose if so there would be a cut out in the firewall?

Yes, someone replaced it with a 48 and along with adding the spacer I am assuming.

No two speed rear end. I have also noticed that some people place an extra tall spacer under the carb, is that for keeping the carb cool?

I have a 1937 Ford 85 hp with a Stromberg 48 carburetor which someone added along with what I am assuming is not original, a 1/2" carb to intake spacer with vacuum port. Since I do not need the vacuum port does anyone know if I can just remove the spacer or is it needed?

Has anyone removed the windshield trim from Model "B" before? My 37's windshield trim has some rust but looks like if I had it off the car I could clear it with rust remover and it should look decient...I tried a small section after I masked off around it. Any suggestions?

I have a 1937 Ford Deluxe that someone ran the windshield vaccum hose from the intake mainfold to the wiper motors through the choke throttle hole in the firewall. Does anyone know the original path for this hose? Thanks, Dave
