Push it down the driveway and pop the clutch and started ok. No more issues until this morning and click again...

    53 thermostat

And where do you buy a thermostat that doesn't fail after a couple weeks - I went thru 3 pairs - finally just removed the guts out of a pair. It runs too cool in the winter (yes I drive my car in the winter) and so far ok in this warm weather - 180.

    After market radios

Hey does a car speaker "care" if it's hooked to a 6 volt, 12 volts, negative ground or positive ground radio??

    After market radios

Car is radio delete. Yesterday I bought a MP3 - well that was a train wreck - wouldn't charge and laptop wouldn't recognize it - so took it back to the store and bought a portable CD/FM player - maybe I can have some rock n roll now.

Does these inverter/radio set ups have much of a "draw" on the battery/generator?? Again I'm not that in tuned in this electronic stuff - I'm a nut & bolt type of guy - lol!!

    After market radios

I'm tired of driving around without music - my '52 is radio delete - still 6 volt - I've read that some guys on here have newer radios with 12 volt batteries for power - can you share how you did this? And how you maintain power to the battery. Thanks

    Thermostat

I've had 3 pair fail after a short time, so I removed the guts of the last pair - of course the motor doesn't heat up as it should now and it gets pretty cold here. I try to drive my car as much as possible, but like today it's just too cold - who's makes the best thermostat now days? I've got...

    Duel exhaust

My '52 is a stockV8 single exhaust - would like it changed to duals. Won't go with headers and I don't think I want to replace the driver side exhaust manifold. So has anyone done a "Y" off the passenger side pipe and crossed over near the trany? I've seen a pix of this done and I already know...

    Overdrive not working

If you're still 6 volt - original wiring I suggest you check and double check all the grounds. Also check the generator output and check the battery too. OD are very sensitive to voltage drop - requires full 30 amps to pull the solenoid. My '50 always gave me fits at night when driving with the...
