For sure, take the spring set to a spring shop. You may want to take the specs and tell them the CL to CL spring perch measurement when assembled. They should be able to do an excellent job. I had both my front and rear springs reworked.

Call LeBaron Bonney and see if they will send you their instruction sheets. I bought a 30/31 Deluxe Roadster top and have the detailed instructions but I don't think I would use these for the 29.

Sorry - I forgot to mention, if you replace the wood, use red oak, not white oak. With red oak you do not need to stain and the clear urethane has a slight amber tint and will darken the wood just a bit and allow the grain to show much better. Real pretty.
